Moon Over Dark Street Technical Requirements:

• Good Quality, tuned, baby grand or upright piano

• 2 sturdy chairs, preferably café type

• Broom – clean performance area, large enough to contain the piano and the playing area should measure no less than 12’ wide x 12’ deep x 11’ high

• Broom-clean dressing room with good light, 3 chairs, table, 1 full-length mirror and one make-up mirror

Optimum:  

• 2 platforms measuring approx.. 6’ x 9’ to serve as a stage area

• A simple light colored wall or curtain (cyc) hung behind the platform on which color and shadows can be projected by standard theatre lighting instruments

On Lighting:

• A basic light plot will be provided and lights should be hung and focused before Tech

• A technical assistant/light operator can be provided but will not hang and focus

On Sound:

• Depending on size of house, wireless microphones may be needed-Shure Countryman are good

Both Tech Rehearsal and performance time needed in space

Performance running time: 75 minutes with no intermission
